Communication: summits and Duved exhibition

From the very start the processes was based on a strong communication strategy. It is a strategy totally based on content, involvement, innovation and participation. The local engagement has since day one been matched by generating a strong national network to give Duved a long term legitimate status as innovation hub, beyond political positions. This has successful.

A research project financed by the Swedish Innovation Agency, Vinnova, has been parallel to the actual process in Duved. In 2022 Duved will be appointed a development hub on a European level. A letter has been formed – in dialogue with the European Council – from Duved Future, together with the City of Åre and from the Region of Jämtland Härjedalen. It is a starting point of a collaboration that aim to include annual summits and discussions on democracy, human rights, integration and affordability. The current situation with the war in Ukraine has made these issues even more urgent.

In the fall of 2022 a Duved Innovation Summit is planned, which will highlight some of the topics mentions above.

In 2025-26 a Duved Exhibition is planned. If the Stockholm Exhibition in 1930 was the launch of the Swedish Model and Welfare State for the Industrial era – the Duved exhibition is set to manifest a 2.0 version - for a digitalsed and circular society.
